Building retrofit
In 2016, the municipal company Urban Development Solutions Ltd. successfully joined the design-and-build programme for construction and installation works under the National Programme for Energy Efficiency of Multi-Family Residential Buildings across Burgas Municipality.
Quarries and aggregates
Urban Development Solutions Ltd. operates the Banevo quarry, located in the Banevo district of Burgas, roughly 1 km north of the settlement. The quarry has been in active operation since the spring of 1961 and has been worked by the enterprise — later renamed Urban Development Solutions Ltd. — since 1970. An operating plan is drawn up each year, setting the blasting horizon for the current year. Alongside the Banevo quarry, the company also operates the Kamenar quarry.
The aggregates produced for asphalt mixes, road bases, shoulders and concrete additives are stored in clearly separated stockpiles at the aggregate processing site.
